I design supercar lighting systems and experiences people step inside
Scroll into the work

I design supercar lighting systems — schematic, PCB, EMC, CAN, and the test rigs that prove a part is fit for production. Ten-plus supercar programmes so far.

Then I build the things you feel as much as see: festival zones you hear before you reach them, a mirrored pavilion, a hidden speakeasy, an animatronic head that watches you back. Same discipline, louder outcome.

Engineer by trade, maker by habit — bring dreams to realities.NOTE

Things
I’ve built

01

Windy Ridge
Festival 2026

design · engineering · project management

A private festival raised on open ground. Themed zones, a mirrored fringe pavilion, a speakeasy bar hidden behind velvet. I set the scene concepts, designed the structures and the lighting, sourced the build, and ran the programme to the day itself.

Mechatronic
head, 18 DOF

mechatronics · computer vision · 3D print

An original humanoid skull with eighteen degrees of freedom, tuned for real facial expression and fitted with OpenCV face tracking. Mechanical design, electronics, printing, assembly and control code all mine. It won W Renwick Best Software-Based Project.

Sign-translation
gloves

product design · sensor fusion · conference & public speaking

Flex sensors and a gyroscope read the hand, a Kalman filter cleans the signal, Bluetooth pairs both gloves to an app that prints and speaks the meaning. Sketch to working product, then 8 international competitions, 8 exhibitions, 6 conferences and 10 media interviews as team captain.

Gesture-controlled
trolley

wearable control · mechanics · sensor integration

The Smart “Mobile” Car carries up to 60 kg and is driven by a wrist-worn gesture armband, so nobody has to push it. Honourable Mention in the Invention Projects senior division at the Hong Kong Student Science Project Competition, then a bronze medal in Engineering at I-SWEEEP in Houston.
